Looking for Mandarin nanny/tutor for 3 year old in San Francisco

We’ve been watching language videos together as a family and Ana loves to sing in Chinese, count, and say certain phrases, but she needs more exposure to the language than we can give her. I had pleasure meeting Principal Edward Park at the National Chinese Language Conference this May.  He is the Principal at Barnard Elementary, San Diego Unified School District, the only Mandarin magnet school in San Diego.

I want to share with you about their school through this NBC coverage aired on June 5th, 2009.  http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/Its-Ni-hao-Not-Hola-Here.html

How exciting!!!

International Chinese Language Teacher Directory

Dear Chinese Language Teachers

Please visit our site and join our listings [US$25 a year] – we have hundreds of inquiries every day from students wanting a private Chinese language tutor [Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, Hokkien, Shanghainese]. Our directory is international, so it doesn’t matter which country you live in – the students visiting our site are from all over the world, although the demand is obviously heaviest in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best regards

Jim Westhaven

A Child’s Wish

Dear Friends,

I am an English teacher in San Diego.  I have taught in your wonderful country and am now beginning “baby lessons” in Mandarin .  If you are interested you may want to look at one of my web sites.  www.achildswishes.com  It has a song  A Child’s Wish.   The children of the world seem to like it.  I would love to learn it in Mandarin.  What do you think?

Most Sincerely,

Joanne
